Afro-Nationality Law
  • Grants citizenship to Afro-descendants for countries which enact this law. Can be incorporated into aspects of the Afro-Atlantic Network. I can see countries along West/West-Central Africa adopting this at first.

I'm feeling spry today! Haven't put down a post in a while either maybe that's why.... :/

Fulaman198:

Where would they go though?

(AP) Africa total population 1,111,000,000
(AAP) African American Population 40,000,000 (probably around 50Mil actually)
(NP) Nigeria example population 185,043,000
(GP) Ghana example population 27,714,000
(BP) Botswana example population 2,176,000

Given Equation:
Country population / Total African population = percentage of citizenship slots to country
percentage of citizenship slots to country * Total African American population = number of African Americans accepted as citizens

Example 1 of 3: Nigeria
185,043,000(NP) / 1,111,000,000(AP) = %0.1665554(Nigerian ratio of African population)
40,000,000(AAP) * %0.1665554(Nigerian ratio of African population) = 6,662,216(Maximum citizenship slots open to AA in Nigeria)

Example 2 of 3: Ghana
27,714,000(GP) / 1,111,000,000(AP) = %0.0249451(Ghanaian ratio of African population)
40,000,000(AAP) * %0.0249451(Ghanaian ratio of African population) = 997,804(Maximum citizenship slots open to AA in Ghana)

Example 3 of 3: Botswana
2,176,000(BP) / 1,111,000,000(AP) = %0.0019586(Botswana ratio of African population)
40,000,000(AAP) * %0.0019586(Botswana ratio of African population) = 78,343(Maximum citizenship slots open to AA in Botswana)

(NP) Nigeria population 185,043,000 %0.1665554 (percentage of AAP taken) 6,662,216 (Max possible new citizens)
(GP) Ghana population 27,714,000 %0.0249451 (percentage of AAP taken) 997,804 (Max possible new citizens)
(BP) Botswana population 2,176,000 %0.0019586 (percentage of AAP taken) 78,343 (Max possible new citizens)

Note: I doubt (Actual new citizens) would ever go past %10-20 of given value for max. Besides There is to much prime real estate in the hands of the diaspora for everyone to come back. Strategically in terms of markets & defense it would be a bad move. Though the diaspora should have a sanctuary from judicial, civil, and economic exploitation available to them be it temp or permanent which is what I advocate.

I was reading reason today
@MansaMusa and @videogamestashbox.com
and i saw this pretty excellent article on affordable private school.
It got me thinking about this thread and what a black nationalist centered private school could do for black americans and blacks diaspora in the new world.

Think about what black americans can do with schools like these literred across the south east, teaching our kids and keeping them out of the government prison factories

So I just finished watching it and I'm not sure what I want to say off the bat. I have thoughts on education but I haven't really voiced them yet.
I spoke on a lot of other stuff(which is why i'm always quoting myself) that said I need to put a solid education paradigm out there in addition to other things i've spoken on.
Thanks for the video bruh

Great idea for a thread, I don't have as much info as you brehs do but it seemed to me that with regards the Afro-Atlantic institute/universities you may want to include a couple of cities in Europe. If the aim is to involve ALL of the diaspora, well you have the Black people living in Paris, London, Brussels...to involve in some way. Even more so now that in Paris there's a big movement in black culture, litterature, business, etc...a lot of stuff going on right now, much different than just a couple years ago. Tmrw I'm going to an event in Brussels around afro diaspora that is being held in one of the biggest cultural instittions of the country, things are moving there too. Also the vast majority of Black people here have direct links with Africa, and a significant deal has been to the US, so there's somewhat of a "bridging" role that can be played. Basically a lot of the Black Diaspoa living in Europe have knowledge of Europe, Africa and the US, which can be useful I think :yeshrug:
imo Africans in Europe should also be included

Let's appropriate the triangular trade

Ideally, a powerful Black state or entity should be funding schools/scholarships or entities.

I don't see the neccesity of a state, when we can develop out own industry and businesses to do this for ourselves depending on what we want for our children.

If you want a heavily afro centric school we could have franchises for that, if we want more business oriented schools, trade schools, medical schools and etc it could be done and tailored specifically for that and under our control via accredition.

In light of anxiety from Egypt and Sudan over Ethiopian dam construction

Nile Basin Management Board

  • The Watershed and aquifiers of the Nile would have a board of managers, experts, degree of control over water regulation and compensation for decreased downstead supply. This entity would have representation from all states in the Nile Basin (Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, South Sudan etc.). Potentiality for boards in the Congo River Basin and the Niger River Basin.
This may help alleviate the potential of conflict between Egypt and Ethiopia over its projects.

Can you map out a brief conceptualization for it. Just so I can see where you're coming from better?

Hmm. I'm not sure. I think an African state was experimenting with it. It should be studied/experimented with before any large scale state involvement.

That being said, I think there will always be a place for physical currency.
Ghana has a lot of interest in bitcoin

Is Ghana Showing the Most Interest in Bitcoin?

I'm planning on investing in btc and I'm cloud mining rn, only a beginner but I really want more of us getting into virtual capital.

How else can I help with the University proper?

Think of an accredition angency run by black americans and the diaspora they create educational standards and assure all bodies are providing quality education.

then you have different schools and different levels like franchisees with different educational objectives or focuses directed to blacks as a service.
schools that you might enroll your child for heavy science, engineering, trades, politics, law, medicine, and etc.

- That's very interesting. I wonder if Ghanaians are seizing on this to 'leap over' the difficulty of relying on financial institutions in their country? Although I completely understand the necessity of 'leap-frog' technologies in Africa like drones to fly medical supplies, solar panels for electricity, rainwater collectors for clean water and perhaps cryptocurrency as a means of exchange for goods/services - I worry that it'll deter the creation of infrastructure like roads, public utilities for electricity/water and even properly regulated and supported financial institutions. Thoughts?

- As for the university, I don't think any of us has the resources or pull right now for such an idea. But, if we conceptualize upon such an idea, we'll be able to build on our ideas in the next 20-30 years so that it becomes a reality. This thread is sort of like a drawing board for Black Africa/Global Black Diaspora developmental thoughts.

We'll also learn from each other. There's A LOT of smart things that have already been said thus far. More to come, surely.

Okay. Sort of like how WAEC in West Africa provides region-wide testing - but this would go even further in scope!

And then you'd have...the Science, Technology and Engineering Campus in Atlanta. The Politics, Sociology and Arts Campus in...Accra for example?
