And I agree with the NY accent description. I knew something was strange when I visited the West Coast and people from there pointed me out instantly. And no it’s not because I was jay walking either.

They always have that reaction- everywhere I go. Sometimes it's annoying when you visit other places and you're just having a casual convo, then someone interrupts you just to mimick or try to copy the accent as I'm speaking.

I think they should have edited the list bc NY and NJ are not that big of a deal to differentiate the accents; as far as certain cities in Jersey. But the southern parts of NJ, there is a HUGE difference in dialect and accent. South Jersey might as well be another southern state by itself; they dead sound country
