I will agree that people are very weird about Janet. At one point her and Madonna were the biggest artists in the entire world. That Warner Bros deal Prince got was due to him demanding to be the highest paid artist specifically because he was upset they were so popular lol. She was on top of the world and had multiple smash hits.
