"This isn't ai, it's just trash"

"Diss is terrible"

"Diss is prerecorded"

"The public already wanted Drake to lose"

"It's just a flash in the pan"

"It'll only be number 1 for a week"

"Number one debuts aren't the same"

"Drake still has more monthly listeners"

"They botted the streams"

"They only like it because Drake is mentioned"

"The Drake hate is all forced"

"The Grammys are irrelevant"

"He's not going to perform that song"

"Monthly listeners don't count"

"People are only watching for the football"

"They pumped crowd noises into the stadium"

"Roc Nation fudged the viewing numbers"

Any more for the hall of cope fame?

Wtf are we doing here really? Like this shyt is beating a dead horse.

Kendrick came out with better lyrical tracks in the beef. He came out with a #1 record bop in the beef. Won 5 Grammys from the bop track. Broke records at the Super Bowl in viewership - said performance reviews are mixed, but the negative criticism of it comes mostly from outside of hip hop (conservative right wingers). His bop from the beef will go #1 again next week, almost a year after it was released. His album will go #1 again.

Kendrick is not the most popular rapper in the world, but has completely dominated the last 12 months like nothing I’ve ever seen. And he’s barely ever present, wtf.

More viewers than for the game itself :damn:

Here we go… I’m about to go into deep waters. :whoo:

::adjusts collar::

Kendrick’s halftime show was a major moment for hip-hop, and 133.5M viewers is impressive, no doubt. But let’s put this into perspective.

Nielsen’s 2025 tracking update changed how viewership is counted. Kendrick’s number includes out-of-home viewing (bars, hotels, restaurants) and streaming—things past halftime shows didn’t have. MJ’s 133.4M was U.S.-only and TV-only, meaning it didn’t include OOH or streaming—the very factors that amplified Kendrick’s total today. If MJ’s show were tracked under the current system, his number would likely be much higher.

Also, just to clarify—the peak Super Bowl viewership this year was 135.7M in the second quarter, meaning Kendrick’s halftime show wasn’t even the most-watched moment of the night. The claim that it had ‘more viewers than the game’ isn’t accurate.

Whether people liked the performance or not is subjective, but the way the media is spinning these numbers ignores how much Nielsen changed the game. Before calling this a ‘record-breaking moment,’ let’s at least acknowledge the full context.

By the end of this year he damn near will be with the stadium tour and he just announced the European dates.
