Went from playing the perfect underdog to most hated heel that quickly, never seen anything like it. Even in wrestling it typically is a slow build:wow:

It is because his intentions were never pure. 50 wanted to be top c00n that wanted to wage war against other (talented) black men, but kiss white people's asses. DMX always gave back to charity, Pac stayed true to his Black Panther roots, 50 was none of these. He was a typical selfish hood dude that never wanted to change the status quo music wise, or social wise.

Even casual rap fans had enough when he went against Jada, Nas, Cam, Wu Tang, etc.

Idk about that. Folks was comparing him to Pac when he didn't ask for that nor came off that way imo

Typical media, but 50 Got mad when people saw through his super thug image and saw nothing of substance.

I don't know breh, maybe he just was trying the same formula that made him pop,and he felt he could do no wrong. He never was able to come close to matching the hits and energy of GRODT though.

Yea but it was real street beef when he started. Ja and Murda Inc was full of people that tried to kill this man and stop his career.

Every other beef after that, was on some bullshyt bully shyt. Going at nikkas for doing songs with Ja. Going at nikkas for talking loud. Going up to radio and reading soundscan about how everyone else was bums and couldn't sell. But in reality, it was just made up beef to push records... nikkas saw right through that shyt. And plus you dissing Ja is one thing... Now you dissing dudes favorite rappers of all time and shyt.

Which is why now he cut that shyt out, made up with everyone and is always ready for a collab. If he did that shyt back then, he'd still be on top

It's crazy how mfs turned on him so quickly by 2007. Even though he fell off I still appreciated the dope joints he did put out, even though we never got a whole album full of em like before.
MASSACRE WAS ALREADY MID IN 05.

WE ALL JUST BOUGHT IT
OFF THE STRENGTH OF GRODT.

nikkaS WASNT FALLING
FOR THAT AGAIN.

so is it cool to fukk with 50 / G-Unit again?

i remember after the Ye / 50 thing and that wack ass Ayo Technology song people weren't fukking with 50 like that (his music at least). G-Unit was considered music for nikkas that still rock NBA jeans

now that early 2000's nostalgia kicking in. Not to mention 50 is damn near Black Thought compared to these new nikkas. Hip-hop needs a new 50 Cent type dude real bad. A villain who will come in and clown all this goofy shyt goin on.

I’d say the one person who had the world in his palms more than him would be the man that signed him

Em had the world on smash
