gotta love the way it ends too :

"Why don't we just wait here for a little while... see what happens..." :shaq:
This bit always makes me kind of sad with the way they both become resigned to the fact they were going to die
Wanting people to use those old kind of special effects and saying "fukk cgi" is just pure nostalgia

no real logic to it at all at this point

not frontin tho I see and understand why someone would love those old kind of effects. nothin wrong with that

But CGI simply looks way better. Especially right now because the cgi is so crazy

when it first came out people were like :childplease: because that shyt looked almost cartoonish

but now in the past few years........just look at avatar or somethin like that. shyt looks real dog!

I fukk with old movies heavy........but just the ones that didn't use mad corny special effects

not even hatin on this movie either.........just sayin
Not for a horror it doesnt case in point the xenomorph exterior through the years.Compare how they looked in alien/aliens as oppose to the ending of prometheus when its all cgi'd.Its completely losts its monstery slimy element and almost seems clean and human now

just watched the prequel from last year. i really like it but :snoop: at the CGI. shyt was :beli: would've been a lot better with practical effects. the original 30 years ago looks better than the one made last year. that's ridiculous. hollywood should know better by now. it's probably cheaper to have practical effects too.

It's not nostalgia in the least. You act like every movie has the budget of avatar. The use of CGI today is awful in most movies and tv shows. Practical effects look a hundred times better then CGI in 90% of the cases.

I love walking dead and spartacus tv shows, but I cringe when I watch it because of how bad and fake the CGI blood is in scenes. It's so dam noticeable and tacky.

avatar was just one example. ill just say almost every action/adventure movie then.

90% of movies and tv shows using CGI now looks way better than "practical effects"

It looks worse to you and better to me thats all it is. the blood looking that way is a choice of style......its supposed to look exactly like that flying through the air and shyt

plus nostalgia.
