Wonder how this will be defended

Let me explain the various defects of the proposed settlement in Ross that Jackson correctly identified in her opinion denying settlement approval.

  • The proposed notice to class members did not provide any "sense of how giving particular answers on the claim form [would] likely influence the amount of a class member's recovery."
  • If class members did not complete the "extensive" claim form, they would lose their right to sue yet "would become ineligible to recover any compensation from the settlement fund."
  • There was a "gross imbalance" between the claims actually at issue in the case and the claims released under the proposed settlement. In other words, the settlement asked the employees to give up more than the law permitted.
  • Lockheed Martin would have been legally immunized from misconduct that occurred after the class members were given a chance to exit the settlement.
  • The proposed class was not cohesive because the discrimination, if any, against the employees was individualized and differed person to person.
  • The settling parties had not fully evaluated the class members' claims; indeed, they wanted to settle within a few months of filing suit.

This bytch , Ketanji claimed she didn't even know what a woman was. Dead serious.
Personally, I don't like her refusal to answer either. But that senator knew what she was doing by asking days after that NCAA controversy. It was bait. This isn't really a partisan thing. Most progressives ain't on that wave either. It's a fringe issue.

Nice politically expedient answer but looking at the trends of this nation especially the non procreative sexual agenda geared towards Black people...this is concerning.
But she still sentenced BELOW, some slap on the wrist shyt. Am I missing something?
It's not on her (or any other judge) to change the guidelines. It's on Congress. So now that someone could potentially have TBs of that disgusting shyt on their hard drive (as opposed to a time like the 90s), the discretion is left up to judges. I agree it's a problem but direct your indignation at the correct people. They're trying to paint her as some maverick pedo sympathizer and it's ridiculous. Think about that. Do you really think the woman sympathizes with people who indulge in kiddie porn? Really? But that's how low we've stooped and yall falling for it.

No, you are the dumb and ignorant one who thinks it’s acceptable not to question why this woman is ok with regularly giving lesser sentences to peodophiles. I don’t care about what the other judges do, I’m interested in know why this woman, who is a representation of my race does it.

shut up bytch , don’t nobody care what nikka nerds want. Cant you see that?

Nobody is talking about her changing the guidelines what’s being talked about is how SHE SENTENCED within them and it’s lenient. And people can only go off what she DID. So yes she’s

Throughout the questioning, she kept saying she was staying in her lane, and only answering as a judge. She didn’t want to give an answer that was going to make her seem for or against trans people. Lawyers give very strategic answers.

Personally, I don’t feel people with men’s bodies should compete in women’s sports against women’s bodies. That would be my personal answer.
