The enemies we know are immaterial, since they've been identified and isolated. Why would Tariq waste his time targeting those whom the black community overwhelmingly chooses not to follow? Democrats "pacifying black people" and silencing their protest isn't reality though. The evidence Tariq uses to convince people like you of that is "WHAT HAVE THE DEMS DONE FOR BLACK PEOPLE THE LAST 50 YEARS". Which sounds convincing if you ignore that it's the republicans who have been steadfastly united and successful in stopping the dems from making any progress for black people or anybody else during that same time span, because they've had the power to uphold the status quo. You add in the fact that our govt is setup to make it harder to change the status quo -- for example by needing 60 votes instead of a simple 51 majority in the senate to get anything past, needing 2/3rds of the house and senate to amend the constitution, etc. -- you can see why progress is difficult beyond Tariq's simple analysis.

But of course it's easier to be convinced of Tariq's simple and ignorant arguments when you're unaware of how our government truly works.

Obama had both houses in his first term and couldn't push through single payer, compromising with the Affordable Care Act, an alternative that heavily favored corporate interests. The 94 crime bill, which resulted in the aggressive incarceration of black people, was sponsored by a Democrat and signed into law by a Democratic President.
