Got guys crying because we risk not drafting the next Chandler Hutchison or Tony snell :mjlol:

I know we are not used to real gm taking place but I'm sure the thinking is we will be a playoff team so those picks will be teens and 20s.

Who cares that we can't draft in that space? With other leagues, 2 way contracts etc those picks have been lost its true value which is why jrue returns like 5 picks from the bucks. Who cares

Plus the picks are top 4 protected so if a major injury takes place we can nuclear tank and get the picks back

Or lavine and Vucevic have the talent that we can flip either of them and get the picks right back really.

It's all a win win imo. Proven nba commodities trump nba draft gambles imo.

Complete dedication to mediocrity move here ...Vuc is going to be 31 years old is largely a one sided player and we jumped out the window to give away two FRP's and the opportunity cost specifically to remove ourselves from this current draft which has elite talent in the top 5 all so we can solidify that coveted #5 seed in the eastern conference and to also claim that prestigious title of a "tough second round out" :mjlol:

Like i get it ... some fans just want a "competitive team" and they have no problems settling for a squad that maxes out at 48-51 wins with no realistic path to contention but that shyt gets bo play from me ...its just not at all appealing in any way shape form or fashion ... you know exactly how every year is going to end you know exactly why its going to end that way and you know that you don't have the capacity to alter your fortunes .. its masochistic IMO ...hopefully the shyt works out but if they were willing to dump that much draft capital into a player I would have much rather it been on a dude like Myles Turner ... at least you know his value as a rim protector and he's 5 years younger meaning he can continue to be on the same timeline as the other pieces ... but hey these GM's gotta make these vanity moves to pretend that they're doing something in order to secure their worth so I get the mindset it is what it is :yeshrug:

We wouldn't be drafting in the 20's if we didnt make treadmill trades obviously champ ..we are currently 10th in draft seeding ...so you effectively gave up a top 10 pick for a 31 year old 7 foot jumpshooter ... yes ... thats that "good gm'ing" that we've never seen before no doubt :francis:

If the Bag is too heavy for Zo in the off-season, I see Jrue/Conley/Lowry/ even CP3 and some other vets like Dragic and Dennis Schroeder, though they aren’t ideal fits, as viable option at the 1 ...though the price would all be in the same ball park for most of those guys.

I like all the moves

Vuc is meh on defense but offensively he is super skilled. 2 picks seems like a lot but its market rate for allstar level duds and at some point we gotta get talent and not do the lottery shuffle

And Vuc can easily put up these numbers til 34....game isnt based on athleticism AT ALL

The picks will end up being 16-26 range .....I'm not wringing my hands. This shows other players and Zach, we serious about winning

Plus WCJ waterhead ass is :camby:

get Lauri tf out and get a PG and we on right track

I will say this tho ... This team should be extremely fun to watch offensively moving forward... lots of explosive scorers and quality 3 point shooting all over the floor ... good scoring depth as well ...this team should definitely be bordering on a top 5-10 offense over the second part of the season ... AKME have created almost a poor mans denver nuggets with this roster construction

I thought the idea was that Billy had no interest in a rebuild which is why he left OKC in the first place? Unless Zach had somehow regressed or wanted out, there was no real reason to trade him and tank. The whole reason for the off-season hires was to change the culture into a winning one and you're not doing that by trading winning players and tanking.

Bulls finally made a move like a team in a major market should make. If you continue to put a quality exciting team on the floor with a competent direction, you then enter into the space where players WANT to come to your team. The Bulls have not been there since Michael Jordan.

It's about damn time they started acting like they're in Chicago instead of fukking Wyoming. This move tells me they're confident that they will be able to get quality additions outside of praying for fukking lottery picks.

I think it also speaks to the confidence they have in Pat Will turning into an all star level two way player

I'm not so sure about this. But if the Heat can do it then I guess we can. :yeshrug:
