I used to live in SC and I had a very dope apartment for only $800
That shyt inAtlanta would have been about $1700
I never bought into thisIt's not at all culturally southern is what they mean. In Florida the further north you go the more southern it is.
South Florida is primarily east-coast transplants, Hispanics, and Caribbeans and the culture reflects it.
You couldn’t pay me to live in Greenville. Correct me if I’m wrong, is Greenville a college town?
I’ll say it every time this thread is made Cary, NCit was cheap until everyone started relocating. The price of the brick went up.
I finally live in an area with decent public transit(Charlotte) and man I thought I was going to live on that shyt lol. Ask me if I ever jumped on a bus or train around here.. We want our car so we can get TF out when it’s time. Imagine waiting around on a bus when shyt is about to go downPeople in the South don't give a fukk about public transportation, nor is public transportation ideal in the vast majority of the country anyway. Many places in the South don't want the entirety of their respective city to be completely accessible to public transportation and buses will not even take you certain places. People are concerned about crime with regards to that. Take it how you will.
Also, it really doesn't matter all that much because people value what they value. Southerners typically choose to stay in the South. One usually does not move from Augusta or Memphis to Philadelphia or Chicago without some major prompting.

Yeah the city is having to deal with that too. Imagine having all these people working in your city but living in others. That’s not a good look for you at all.Charlotte got super fukking expensive.
Some of my fam had to move outside to mint Hill or monroe.
SC is where the most black New Yorkers are moving too. Damn near all the black Americans in NY have lineage in the CarolinasI’ll say it every time this thread is made Cary, NC
