It tricked me out, when I found out this song was made by a white man.
Back in the day this song, believe it or not, got more play on black radio stations and clubs than it did on MTV and white clubs.
So did Madonna in the beginning of her career when she was a rising disco-pop star linking up wit Nile Rogers.
Can't forget first time I found out been around the world and nyah nyah nyah was a white British lady.
Another fun fact: rock and roll legend Buddy Holly was the first white act ever to be booked for the Apollo in 1957, and it was only because the owners mistakenly believed the were black R&B group until it was too late and the show had to happen. They were booed at first but the audience grew to enjoy them.
