I'm hearing other Laker fans say this especially on sports radio out here in LA. Well what the fukk are ya'll going to do if Dwight leaves and you don't want Melo or LeBron? You only poach players from other teams, you don't draft at all. You guys only talk championships so if not LeBron who else can deliver that? Either burn it down and draft or continue to poach and get free agents. which one is it?:mindblown:

We burn it down this year, get a high pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, then sign 2 Max FA's, and surround them with Kobe and Gasol on cheap deals with Nash.

Top 2014 FA's
Paul Pierce
Luol Deng
Dirk Nowitzki
Greg Monroe
Paul George
Danny Granger
Eric Bledsoe
Zach Randolph
Chris Bosh
Dwyane Wade
LeBron James
Carmelo Anthony
DeMarcus Cousins
Tim Duncan
John Wall

Obviously Paul Pierce, Dirk, and Duncan are too old. But are yall telling me the Lakers arent gonna get 2 of those players off that list and sign them to a Max Free Agent deal:rudy:

We talking about the Lakers here:ufdup:

shyt, give me former teammates who have stated their desire to play together DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall (UK stan here:ohlawd: ), we get a high pick cause we were so bad and didnt play Kobe (Aaron Gordon) and surround them with Gasol and Kobe on cheaper deals.

Lineup:

C DeMarcus Cousins
PF Pau Gasol
SF Aaron Gordon
SG Kobe Bryant
PG John Wall

Is that not reasonable? Is that far-fetched for the fukking Los Angeles Lakers?:dahell:

Hit that draft breh. Paul George will be a restricted free agent I believe. Ya'll don't want LeBron. Alot of the other guys on that list are damn near done. Hit that draft, I think Silver/Stern will get you guys Wiggins or Jabari Parker

Kobe and Nash both pitched to Dwight that Lakers -- even tho they are older -- gave him best chance to win because, well, they've won before
:what: This double down eating bytch needs to shut the fukk up. She is so fukking annoying. Honestly, even tough the Rockets are "deemed" the favorites to get Dwight, but its sounding more like the media wants Dwight to leave than in actuality. First Lakers and Dwight had a great meeting where they cleared the air, but now Kobe is ruining it? :what: Media are the fukking worst.

Howard repeatedly stressed in the meeting that his main goal is to win titles, sources said, and Nash and Bryant argued that while they are both older than the Houston Rockets' James Harden and Chandler Parsons, as well as Golden State's Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, only his teammates in Los Angeles actually have ever won anything.

Bryant then told Howard he needed to "plant his roots in one place and grow." He said there always would be issues to deal with in whatever city he plays, but that he would be better able to deal with them once he commits to one team and one teamj, sources described.

Howard, at one point, asked Bryant and Nash how healthy they truly would be next season, sources said. Bryant assured Howard that he believes he will return to an elite level. Nash told Howard that he is confident he will get back into the kind of shape he was in before breaking his leg in the second game of the season. He also asked Howard to give this group of players another chance to make up for an injury-riddled 2012-13 season.

The discussion, one source said, surprisingly had very little to do with Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni. But it did get into some of the other issues -- such as Howard's health -- that had been the source of tension during the season, and the three men had what sources described as a very "honest" discussion about them.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Jackson has informally made it known that he was available to the Lakers in their pitch to Howard, and in other capacities in the future, should Howard ever seek counsel. Jackson, the fiance of Lakers executive vice president Jeanie Buss, has become something of an informal consultant to the Lakers, general manager Mitch Kupchak acknowledged after last Thursday's NBA draft.

"He's been helpful since 1999," Kupchak said.

Ramona is actually smart. Im not surprised that Lakers fans seem to hate her.

:heh: You nikkas are DREAMING. You ain't getting Wall since he is RESTRICTED and we will MATCH ANY OFFER.

Same with Cousins and Sacramento unless he goes even more crazy.

You nikkas need to draft your own players.

REALITY CHECK

Lakers signing Dwight could help attract free agents not named Bron. Don't see him going to add to Kobe's legacy, giving him more titles. Lakers may need to :pacspit: Kobe and tell him to retire for Bron to even glance their way. If Dwight leaves, then they will have to destroy and rebuild.

Best Players Available in 2014

Lebron - 14/15 player option
Dwade - 14/15 player option
Bosh - 14/15 player option
Duncan - 14/15 player option
Amar'e - 14/15 player option
Melo - 14/15 player option
ZBo - 14/15 player option
Gay - 14/15 player option
Cousins - restricted FA
Wall - restricted FA
Bledsoe - restricted FA
Kobe - unrestricted FA
Pierce - unrestricted FA
Deng - unrestricted FA
Dirk - unrestricted FA
Pau - unrestricted FA
Bogut - unrestricted FA
Okafor - unrestricted FA
Granger - unrestricted FA
Stuckey - unrestricted FA
B. Gordan - unrestricted

There are other players, but these are top ones on the list. Players that I expect to stay put....Wade, Bron, Duncan, Dirk, Kobe, Cousins, Wall, Melo and Amar'e :lolbron:

This is the reality of what Lakers will have to choose from. This is the reason why the Lakers FO is begging Dwight to stay, but Lakers stans don't see the road that lies ahead. They can a build a so-so team from the rest of the list, but it wouldn't be a title contender.

Lakers are fine with/without Dwight.

they still got Gasol the best big man in the league. They still have Kobe, they have Nash, they have Hill. If they do a sign and trade for Asik & Lin they'll be even better. amnesty Artest sign Brewer and/or Barnes. Everybody needs to stop trying to build super teams they obviously do not work. Miami Heat pretty much lost two series to two clearly inferior teams from a talent standpoint.

Going online now co-scribed w/ @WindhorstESPN: Warriors have begun aggressively shopping three expiring contracts to boost Dwight chances
:why: Swag Jerry West needs to know, Lakers rape teams in trades, not the other way around. No Barnes or Thompson, no Dwight. And even if we trade Dwight, it ain't going to a division rival and set the Warriors up with a potential dynasty in the making. Warriors ain't got no leverage.
