If the Lakers could get a #1 for Hill that would be a steal. Why does everyone overrate him so much?

Calm down brehs:whoa:

We the GOAT franchise and organization for a reason:smugbiden:

I look at it like this....It all started in 1949 as the Minneapolis Lakers right?:

1949-1956
, we had George Mikan as our Superstar player and we did our thang until he retired.

1957 and 1958, for 2 years we just stayed above water

1959-1974 we acquired our next Superstar players....Elgin Baylor in 59, Jerry West in 61, Gail Goodrich in 66, and Wilt Chamberlain in 1969.

1975 Gail Goodrich, near the end of his prime, was left all alone and the Lakers struggled to a 30-52 record

1976-1991 We do what we do and acquired Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from the Bucks in 76 and let Gail Goodrich go and sign with the New Orleans Jazz for their future 1979 1st round pick:shaq: That turned out to be the #1 overall pick when the Jazz finished with the worst record in the NBA in 1979 and we selected Magic Johnson in the draft. We then go on to the following season and trade our 1st round pick in the 1980 draft packaged with our barely used, 3.0 ppg, 1.7 rpg PF/SF Don Ford, to the Cavs for their future 1st round pick in the 1982 draft:shaq: and guard Butch Lee. That pick turned out to be the #1 overall pick when we won the coin toss that year and we selected James Worthy....we shut shyt down until Magic caught HIV and Big Game James got injured:to:

1992-1996 We had a couple decent seasons, a couple bad seasons....but all in all, it was dark days for the Lakers even though we had acquired young and exciting Nick Van Exel and Eddie Jones

1997-2004 On draft night, we traded Vlade Divac for the GAWD and also acquired Shaquille O'Neal as a FA. The dynasty was reborn. We went on to 3 more rings and 4 Finals.

2005-2007 The Gawd was surrounded by the worst disciples ever. Kwame Brown/Smush Parker/Luke Walton/Jumaine Jones/Aaron McKie/Tierre Brown/Slava Medvedenko/Vladimir Radmanovic/Laron Profit/Chucky Atkins/Brian Grant. Only players with any talent was Lamar Odom and Caron Butler who we traded after 1 season. The GAWD was so disappointed that he said he would rather play on Pluto than play with this roster the next season. We did manage however to acquire 17 year old Andrew Bynum straight out of HS in 2005 even though he wouldn't reach his full potential in 2012 due to numerous injuries

2008-2010 The GAWD was blessed when we acquired Pau Gasol, Trevor Ariza and Andrew Bynum teamed up with him to provide a force in the paint with Odom providing versatility off the bench. 2010, We acquired Metta World Peace who locked up young Kevin Durant and was a key to us winning. The LWO was back after a brief 3 year hiatus. We went on to win more championships and make nikkas mad all over again when went to 3 straight NBA Finals

2011-current Pau Gasol has heavily struggled, MWP is washed up, Andrew Bynum was traded, and even though we acquired Dwight Howard and Steve Nash...both were injured the entire season. The future is unknown for the LWO, due to salary cap restraints, and all we can rely on is the fact that we never go too long withou re-upping and taking over the league again. We WILL BE BACK:ufdup:

2014 or 2015....:blessed:

You left out the part about the GOAT owner dying, and being replaced by a coke head. We're fukked breh.

Jerry Buss didnt become owner until 1979....by that time we had already had this in our time line:

1949-1956, we had George Mikan as our Superstar player and we did our thang until he retired.

1957 and 1958, for 2 years we just stayed above water

1959-1974 we acquired our next Superstar players....Elgin Baylor in 59, Jerry West in 61, Gail Goodrich in 66, and Wilt Chamberlain in 1969.

Jerry Buss had NOTHING to do with any of those moves...we were already set to dominate the 80s, because we had Kareem and the #1 pick in the draft before Jerry Buss became the owner.

We were gonna draft Magic Johnson #1 regardless:manny:

I know it's the 2nd round but it's like these nikkaz don't even attempt to try and find a talented player.
