the end bit was a tamer version of a serbian film..

man serbian film was terrible.. iknow they were trying to break film boundaries or limits but it was done is such bad taste...

but serious though kill list isn't as good as people seems

-the beginning was soo boring
-movie needed captions..couldnt understand half of what those cacs were saying
-some plot holes

it picks up alot when it gets to the middle...when they start killing people off the kill list...some of the scenes are just :demonic::whoo::mindblown: all at the same time..very well done and throughout the whole movie there's this creepy eeriness to it...liike a cultish atmostphere..and hte ending is defly :mindblown: so it's up to you

the film pays homage to old british horror films..the wicker man.

yes it does...thats the closest inspiration i can think of..and the eerieness can be traced back to rose maries baby...alot of mainstreamers didn't like how the last part of the film had sucha turn in plot but if you watch the movie clearly ..you couldve tell the clients were cult fanatics grooming the main dude to be their sort of anti-christ figure

the poster/art work had a horror/chiller feel to it.

That's why the film is so effective. It eases you into the horror little by little. There's clues sprinkled throughout the film and the atmosphere is so unsettling.

There's definitely an argument though that the main dude imagined all this shyt and was suffering some sort of post-war syndrome/madness

So I finally saw this and wow :wow: :ooh: :mindblown:

One of the best films of the last few years.

Although I regret reading so much about it before I seen it. The Wicker Man comparisons kinda gave away the ending to me but still..........wild, exuberant, intoxicating cinema.

never heard of it, came in to see what film you guys were talking about, watched the preview :leon:. thinking to myself i might have to check this out.

then i read your comment. :pacspit:

spoilers muthafukka, can you use them?

I didn't reveal anything that countless reviews haven't mentioned. But I'll edit my post.

yeah the story isn;t the strongest point of the movie..i'd say its the weakest..its ridden with plot holes and questionable character behaviour..its the cinemetography,,the scenes,,just the overall atmosphere that makes a good movie
