Pity some won't know about this episode as 'Calliope' was fantastic. I didn't even get a notification on my Netflix apps about there being a new episode. I prefer that they were subtle about the assaults Calliope experienced in the comic as that was a difficult read.

Since I'm not familiar with the comic, I didn't know what to expect. In fact, from the clips I had seen I was expected something much more horror....something maybe like "John Carperter's Cigarette Burns"


But the show turned out NOTHING like how I expected it, I'm not even sure what to compare it to (e.g. 'American Gods' meets...I don't know...certain aspects of 'The Magicians' TV show ?) but I actually liked it.
