I've been doing a re-read and I just got done with the Element Girl issue (which hit me a bit harder now that I'm older
) and I was wondering how they would adapt it since they are shying away from the DC superheroes, but now it seems the show is cancelled 
.Man, if they stuck close to the comic, that episode could've been a huge highlight and got people talking.

This series was almost exactly what I hoped it would be, could never get a 1:1 adaptation but that's an unrealistic expectation. Already in my favorite shows for the year.

that's an entire rabbit hole that exposes a ton of stuff about this world. 1st person I ever heard break that down was COJ and this show confirmed it.

No. Being familiar with the material would probably increase your enjoyment though. At least for me, seeing how well they adapted the story from page to screen was awesome.Thinking about hopping into this...do I need any prior knowledge of the franchise or comics to get in?
