I think Putin wants a regime change. But maybe he's willing to compromise:

He's going to want the promise that Ukraine won't join NATO and I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted some more of the Eastern or Southern part of the country in addition to Donbass and Crimea.

Ukraine blocked their main river that flowed all the way to Crimea. So he's probably going to want to make sure they don't ever do that again.

Nato isn't the one dying right now. They can afford to wait and see with the sanctions. Ukrainians need this shyt over now. Its the best time for Putin to get the best deal he can.

So we basically agree I defenitely agree with the bolded and my main argument is Zelensky trying to shame the west into the War. The Ukrainian conflict (or whatever it will end up being called) is a Ukrainian issue, Not a NATO one and certainly not an american one. If they win they'll have to do it themselves if they can't win surrender and get the best deal.

I haven't heard about drone attacks (no one is talking about drones which is surprising to me) Telling people to attack tanks with Molitov cocktails tells me that that country has lost. It's exactly what Hitler did sending out Kids and old Men to defend Berlin.
