China is talking extra tough

:russ::russ:

Add this to how Lavrov threatened and mocked NATO yesterday - it looks like China and Russia are letting their nuts hang.:wow:

The next few years would be interesting. I just hope it isn’t just military - the world needs an alternative to western hegemony in global economic policies and finance. If they can pull that off and let African countries tap into it - the future is bright.

This young generation of educated African diaspora (intellectual property) on a level playing field - without Bretton Woods and western imperialism - the African renaissance beckons.:wow:

it took 3 weeks for the us to conquer Iraq

A country without an airforce or drones or javelins

it’s not even been a week yet for Russia

Funny thing about Iraq is that it’s almost like what’s happening here.

Iraq invaded Kuwait, because Kuwait used to be a part of Iraq until the British got involved and cut off their (Iraq’s) coastline, effectively landlocking them. They also began asking for loan repayments that Iraq felt was influenced by the West …

now Russia wants land that they feel is theirs (Ukraine, but also Crimea [or the right to restablish the flow of water there]), and also prevent Ukraine from joining NATO, something they feel the West has influenced them to do.

Saddam at one time was seen as a champion of his people. Then of course we know what happened. The parallels are interesting.

This is mostly going to affect the EU and UK. And some British farmers have already started complaining.

Once this war is over - it will be a big miracle if there isn't another big economic meltdown in Europe.

Covid already mess things up - this is just going to make things worse.

Sad day for true Chelsea fans!

He turned our fortunes around and made London blue. I’ll never forget the first season with Claudio Ranieri as the coach. And the subsequent hire of Jose Mourinho which propelled us into the new era of EPL dynasty.

Arjen Robben, Didier Drogba, Gudjohnsen, Makalele, Lampard, Terry, Carvalho, Gallas, Cech and Damien Duff - the beginning of an era.:banderas:

Grateful for all the great times and his impact on EPL as a whole. He’s going to be missed!

Big Roman - The GOAT!:salute:

KTBFFH!
I don’t even watch football anymore little less support anyone. But I would argue that was the greatest Chelsea team since. We where never able to recreate the dominance of that era.

Just grateful that I was there :blessed:
