The hardest part starts now for Putin.

My intuition: he will probably ask Zelensky and co to resign. In order for them to resign, they have to be convinced that the West can't save them. I don't think Zelensky will give up. They will probably try to capture him?

If they refuse, he will either amp up the machine military OR activate sleeper cells within Ukraine's political class aka pro-Russia politicians and stage a coup.

I'm just speculating tho.

You think this is about "picking a side" like people are carefully weighing the moral fortitude of Ukrainians and Russians on some sort of imaginary scale?

This is about being against powerful nations starting wars, invading countries, and acting like imperialists, dumbass. If Ukraine invaded Moldova I'd feel the exact same fukking way.
The USA does all that you mentioned…to a much worse degree than Russia

why act hypocritical against a country defending its national interests?

After doing a simple search into how we got to this point, I honestly don’t blame Putin for doing this.

He asked multiple times including 2008 and last year for assurances that Ukraine isn’t park of NATO. If Ukraine was part of NATO, Russia would be a sitting duck in the event they had beef with a NATO member. Ukraine provided a neutral buffer between them and the west. This could’ve been resolved by making Russia promise not to invade Ukraine if they were kept out of NATO.

But NATO blew Russia off so they took Crimea. This was the next step. The U.S. and NATO dropped the ball on this because they didn’t think Putin would take it this far even though history proved otherwise.

And once again this is part of Obama’s legacy because he dropped the ball first.

Watch that video I posted.

Ukraine had deals with Shell to get natural resources out of there for Europe and that would have cut into Russia's money. After Russia took control of Crimea and other areas Shell backed out. Putin wants to control all of that plus it puts a buffer between Russia and Europe.

I think russia has been playing with them this whole time and using a practice squad against them

Ukraine is fukked anyway and can't win nothing. Country is fukked up, military losing lives and equipment , citizens mad/scared, nato playing with them.

After this is over citizens are going to look for new countries to live in.

Put that pride to the side and surrender....build yourself up and prep for shyt like this in the future

Putin is about as far as a commie as you can get.

He was an active KGB agent of a Communist government for the first 40 years of his life, during his reign as Russia's leader he has propped up other leaders who were also KGB assets at that time, and he has fully doubled-down on totalitarian rule which is what right-wingers claim they hate most about Communism.

He's definitely not practicing communism in Russia but he is far closer to the worst parts of Communism than most of the people the right calls Communists.

How am I "so passionate" for them? I've done literally nothing in these threads except correct misinformation and say war is bad. That's a lot easier to explain than why you're so invested in pushing pro-Russia misinformation regarding a conflict you supposedly don't care about at all.

My interest in the issue has jack shyt to do with Ukraine other than the fact that there are people living there. My lot in it is solely in hating war and hating powerful nations that start wars.
Youre disrespecting me personally over information because I'm not holding up lighters for the Ukraine. Them Nazis sympathizers can hold their own nuts and if you aren't getting paid to shill you need to let them hold their own nuts.
