I'm rooting for picking a side because cacs gonna cac

You think this is about "picking a side" like people are carefully weighing the moral fortitude of Ukrainians and Russians on some sort of imaginary scale?

This is about being against powerful nations starting wars, invading countries, and acting like imperialists, dumbass. If Ukraine invaded Moldova I'd feel the exact same fukking way.

Well I look at their history and say I have no pony in the race regarding what happens to their future. They are at the crossroads to fight for their future. Good luck. They not gang as former Nazi simps.

You look ridiculous being so passionate about them.

Russia encircled Kyiv and Mariupol just before the negotiation of tomorrow... They will put pressure on the Ukrainians.

How am I "so passionate" for them? I've done literally nothing in these threads except correct misinformation and say war is bad. That's a lot easier to explain than why you're so invested in pushing pro-Russia misinformation regarding a conflict you supposedly don't care about at all.

My interest in the issue has jack shyt to do with Ukraine other than the fact that there are people living there. My lot in it is solely in hating war and hating powerful nations that start wars.

You are on a website where grown ass men are not unable to string along a complete sentence, so they have to use Michael Jordan emojis. So yeah, you are interacting with a bunch of imbeciles

To be fair the MJ smileys, alone, make this board interesting.

Especially :mjpls: speaking of which why haven’t we seen any new ones related to this conflict?

But we're supposed to believe a neo-Nazi nation elected a Jewish president in a 70% landslide? They're a fukking fringe. The hilarious thing is that most of the people who opposed the Jewish president are.....wait for it.....Russia sympathizers.

Yes, there are neo-nazis in Ukraine. Just like there are neo-nazis and every other kind of racist in USA. Putin's invasion of Ukraine doesn't have jack shyt to do with that fringe and signal-boosting his propaganda on that front is as silly as claiming that we should fight russia so we can defeat communism, because there are still communists there.
They are not fringe

they are deeply integrated into the Ukrainian military; look up the Azov Battalion

also Ukraine has a history of Nazi collaboration

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
After doing a simple search into how we got to this point, I honestly don’t blame Putin for doing this.

He asked multiple times including 2008 and last year for assurances that Ukraine isn’t park of NATO. If Ukraine was part of NATO, Russia would be a sitting duck in the event they had beef with a NATO member. Ukraine provided a neutral buffer between them and the west. This could’ve been resolved by making Russia promise not to invade Ukraine if they were kept out of NATO.

But NATO blew Russia off so they took Crimea. This was the next step. The U.S. and NATO dropped the ball on this because they didn’t think Putin would take it this far even though history proved otherwise.

And once again this is part of Obama’s legacy because he dropped the ball first.
