If you look at it by population it was less than 10% of the total population in the south that even owned slaves.

I'm sorry about the links I posted about how much they hated him during his life, but I have a book The Real Lincoln by Tom DiLorenzo [rhakim note - this is a well-known Confederate sympathizer who belongs to neo-Confederate groups] that goes more into the actual goings on at the time regarding the hate that Lincoln had even post death. Such as US military sentencing members who spoke out about how much they hated him to death and etc.

I don't care who Tom is associated with.

Your only backing for those claims were bullshyt from your neo-Confederate historian book and widespread disgruntlement with Lincoln DURING the war because White Northerners thought it had gone on too long and didn't want to keep losing hundreds of thousands of White lives to help Black folk. You looked fukking stupid defending his killers and claiming they didn't kill him out of anti-Black motives when they literally said DURING THE TRIAL that they wanted to kill Lincoln cause they thought he'd give Black men the vote.

From the time Lincoln was first elected with just 37% of the vote he wasn't supported by the majority because he was seen as too radically pro-Black for his time, he explicitly said that slavery was wrong, that he would prevent its spread, and that he hoped it would eventually disappear forever and most Americans weren't on that wave yet. He was racist in terms of underestimating Black folk but he wasn't even 1/10th as racist as the vast majority of White folk of his day.

At the time of his death, how many Black folk actually living in America do you think would be fukking stupid enough to believe your claim that the Confederacy and Lincoln were "equally racist"? Do you honestly believe that Black people at the time, North or South, believed that bullshyt?

And how does any of your neoConfederate Lincoln hatred justify you supporting Confederates today, who are clearly flying the flag out of anti-Black prejudice?

And why is it wrong for me to say that Lincoln was better than the other White people around at the time, but it's okay for you to big-up current racists like Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell just because they agree with your political views?
