Ianukovitch wanted Ukraine to join the EU when he was prime minister.

He negotiated for 3 years with the EU for the association agreement when he was president.

That's a russian puppet? You need to be more nuanced.

He was an opportunistic corrupt mobster who tried to play Russia and the West against each other for its own interest and it backfired.

The same negotiations he vetoed when the parliament said yes to opened trade with the west?:francis:

Lol no one is abandoning the US dollar en masse for China's currency. China still isn't transparent enough for global finance to keep significant amount of money in their currency.

He vetoed because the russian gave a better deal. He was pitching the two deals against each other. At first, he accepted, leading the Russians to give him more advantages, and then changed his mind That's why Putin hates him.

If he was the docile russian puppet you're claiming, he would've shut down the negotiation in 2010 when he came into power. Entertaining those negotiations for years is what led to his demise.

If he was the docile russian puppet you're saying, he would have never supported the adhesion of Ukraine in the EU.

It's a useless debate anyway. it doesn't matter anymore.

What happened to all the us and euro support for Ukraine? I thought all these countries had it's back. Beyond sanctions.

I’m probably the dumbest person on this thread. So hear me out. Putin takes Ukraine and kills Zelinsky. Zelinsky becomes a folk hero or a symbol like Batman or some shyt. It becomes a battle cry and the people stand up and overthrow their dictator?

He won't kill him. They might force him to sign a surrender note and let him go. Killing him is useless trouble.

The people that might get killed are the Azov dudes and other Banderists.

Breh he chose a loan bailout from a literal gas station of a country instead of a full on trade agreement with the EU. That's the most puppet shyt you can do lmfao.

OF course them nikkas were gonna kick his dumb ass out.

It's literally universally known he was a Russian puppet personally chosen by Putin lmfao why do you think they invaded directly after his ousting?
