Of course the WWE have themselves to blame as well, Alienating their violent thirsty core base to appeal to the kiddy demographic and making the shyt look like a circus due to Linda's Campaign did wonders as well. A chunk hardcore fans who followed the product felt that they were getting their intelligence insulted so they went to MMA for the real edgy blood and guts, The fair-weather fans who flocked during Wrestlings boom are gone so whats left is the kids and the core who followed wrestling from the beginning. Thats where the 2.0s and 3.0s mainly come from.
