I saw some pics with him holding the belt in front of a background with some moonspeak on it so I'll assume it's this. If he's bringing the WWE title to movie premiers and the like then that's great promotion for the company. Even if it's not, the fact is he doesn't need to do shyt and he's still gonna draw more. It's money driven, you bring in more, you get paid more, you get the better spots, there's no unfairness in that.
SMH at this stupidity. Rock headlinin WM gives him zilch power over the roster. HHH decides who stays put in the E and who can leave so they can try their skill elsewhere. He's runnin the E now.

First, all shyt goes through and ends with Vince. He can't suck his own dikk fast enough whenever he can put shine on someone not with his company full time. Last year, he tried to outsmart everyone by having Brock come in the E with HUGE hype, only to job to Cena. nikkas in the know realize that loss ain't shyt, as Brock pulled in MAD paper for making Cena look great, and Cena stepped up his game as well during that fight. So far, Brock been in two matches.
Next is the payday that gets elevated with the Rock as champion from people who probably wouldn't order. The usual people that pay or stream will keep doing their thing, but nikkas that ain't care about the biz like we do might consider dropping coin on The Rock and may up everyone's pay a bit at Mania. I don't know how true this is as a whole, but I can't imagine the Rock not drawing more attention, especially while holding the belt.
Last, the main event scene is so fukked right now. Scratch that, the WWE/WHC belt scene is straight whack. The true main events are Punk/Taker and HHH/Lesnar. None of the title matches are going to compare to these two. Rock/Cena II will need some twist to it to make it interesting, and Del Rio/Swagger is a Summr Slam match at best.
I think R=G enemies are stretching into the E's locker room, cuz it's the easy thing to jump on past-prime Rock leading the way. None of them nikkas have the balls nor alternative job opportunities to be mad at Vince.

Undertaker had his time to shine 20 years ago when he became WWF Champion. Cripple H only comes around for WM paydays and select Raws like he's some draw but he's not. Jericho conveniently returnss after the Rock comes back to take over the E at Rumble. Lesnar is only around to get his paycheck. So it's hypocritical logic with no grounds of legitimacy to them.
The Rock is the Rock. Every show he's on is sold out. Compare that to when Cena and Punk were champions in 2012, 2011, and 2010. It's just common sense.
