Rock doesn't squat ANYMORE. I'm sure he used to a lot.

Trust me when I'm 40+ you won't see me squatting much or deadlifting. They are both good for growth but won't be putting that pressure on my body at that age.

because squats dont define a workout like everyone thinks. IMO they only help chicks get firm buts at low weight high reps.

ive almost never squated and im ideal almost. i will post a proof pic tonight im so much better than i was 2 years ago no squats

Same here. Squats and Deads are my psychiatrist some weeks. I'm going to do them as long as I am physically able. I don't knock anyone making progress without them but I dunno if I myself could stop without a medical reason

Man I want my legs to have mass.. I'm tired of having chicken legs.. Squats/deads are a must for some people. Been seeing good results. :manny:

Low weight high reps, whats the problem. If you're workin out for vanity squats and deadlifts arent necessary, if you're working out to be a killer, they are necessary.

Know who you are
Yeah breh, squats and deadlifts are a stable for me. I've been doing moderately heavy sets ( at least 3+ plates) for years with no sort of injuries in sight :umad:

If I stopped deadlifting and squatting that'd mean I have to use leg press and a bunch of other pussifed machines to twice as hard to see the same results....


I always laugh ( :heh: ) at cats trying to call me out for not racking up the leg press or even touching that shyt, when they struggle to squat 2 plates parallel.

And once again, I've never ever had any sort of injury. :umad:

He knows his own body and what's good for him.

Did The Rock squat and DL to build his physique initially?

The number one mistake people do is look at what advanced lifters currently do and use that to base what they should be doing. Ignoring that the advanced lifter's routine has drastically changed through time and their current routine is not what provided the foundation of the physique.
