The Rock doesn't deadlift, only squats every now and then.

Deadlifts aren't necessary and to me an overrated exercise. I don't even do them anymore, tore my bicep from that shyt

And someone with the background of The Rock (collegiate football player, pro-wrestler, bodybuilder) he doesn't need it to stimulate growth or as a proof of strength.

Even freeweight squatting isn't as necessary as much as people think. It gets to the point where it wears your body down, and there are other less-stressful lifts, exercises, and machines you can do to stimulate growth

why do you say that?

pretty great exercise imo
because squats dont define a workout like everyone thinks. IMO they only help chicks get firm buts at low weight high reps.

ive almost never squated and im ideal almost. i will post a proof pic tonight im so much better than i was 2 years ago no squats

:patrice: depends on your body type. I'm naturally a skinny / slim cat and best believe I tried a million and one exercises and routines, before my quads and traps really started to pop, from heavy squats...
