i like the lineup of howard and asik. In all honesty it'll be a battle of wills/a game of chicken when they play teams like san antonio and golden state whom will undoubtedly use stretch 4s and hack-a-dwight/asik tactics to try and force houston into their small ball lineup.. and not that houston doesn't have the capable shooters.. but the flip side for them would be, if asik-dwight on the floor 2gether are effective as a shot-altering/offensive rebounding monster vs. those small ball teams, then its whether they can in turn force the spurs, warriors, clippers, etc to stick with more traditional big lineups to match up with houston's front court size and prevent dwight/asik from bullying their pf's on the boards.
Offensively i don't think spacing will be too big an issue as harden and parsons are willing passers that can dump it down to the bigs and or kick it out to the open wingman who is looking to shoot the 3 anyway (all the while knowing that dwight and asik will both be on the boards). Only major issue offensively will come midway through every quarter in the playoffs when the opposing team gets in the penalty and popovich, jackson, rivers starts the intentionally fouling or the hard fouls after every offensive board.
