This company buried and fired Killer Cross who everyone thought was Vinces wet dream. They fired proven money makers like Bray Wyatt and Strowman. Nobody is safe. Nobody.

Up until NXT went to 2 hours live on USA there was just one big thread for NXT.

Nah, this isn’t the NXT that was a hybrid 3rd brand from 2014-2020, this is a 2 hour FCW.

People getting on Hunter for turning NXT into an indie third brand but lets not act like WWE has not wanted a third brand with ECW. They originally was going to keep WCW up & running. The cruiserweight where post to be their own brand exclusively for the network when they actually cared & tried to created content for the it.

They will probably try again in the future to make a third brand. The stupid NXT gameshow was pretty much FCW. You had the one indie daring Bryan, AJ, Low Ki against the typical WWE recruit WWE would want.

I knew once they sold off the network and went to peacock nxt would suffer. Turning on the network to catch up on nxt and get excited for takeovers was a dope ass time in recent wrestling.

It's really interesting seeing the different takes on NXT Black and Gold. Not only does it seem to vary from "good" to "bad," but there also seems to be varying takes on its purpose as well:

--Multiple posts makes it seem as if it was all indy flippy shyt
--Other posts holds that it was indy flippy shyt that still outshined the main roster
--Some claim that there was no need for Indy-Fed hybrids, and that the show should be about development(al) only.
--A few maintain that the new trajectory, regardless of its purpose, is better than the OG NXT.

**Side note: Does NXT Black and Gold need to be split into eras, or should it all be collapsed under one umbrella?

Dudes say this but let an Alexa Bliss or Nia Jax match come on & they start complaining about she cant work or Bliss doesn't take bumps. Andre Chase is really going to be a star on the main roster just wait. Wrestling fans are flip-flop- wishy washy.

Where was all this hate/smoke when Takeovers where out doing the main roster PPV in the same building. There was no smoke but since they lost the war now everyone wants to be on there WWE revisionist history now & trash the previous NXT reincarnation.
