trying to get my brain to focus on punching and kicking together instead of one or the other.... I guess it's a muscle memory thing since I'm not used to working knees and kicks.....just doing light drilling, working on form and sparring every couple of weeks waiting for my thai shin pads from amazon my whole shyt bruised
Your legs will get used to it. I came from a kung fu background and jumped into dutch style muay Thai, bjj and wrestling. I enjoy learning all three but I do more dutch style.
Try more one two three round kick with your rear leg combos. Dutch style is more boxing so it may suit you better. If you in NYC I can recommend a gym to check out.
