@Cave Savage Great podcast (with powerpoint slides) breaking down the different factions of Right-wing populists:

In today's episode of Toxic Populist we define the four separate factions of online populism. Thank
you for joining me in the first episode of Toxic Populist.

Listed from Far-right to Center-right:

1. Gropyers
2. America 1st/PaleoConservatives
3. New Right/National Conservatives

@Rell Lauren Kinda conflicted. Bannon is leery of DeSantis:

But Ann Coulter loves him. She was hyping him up as 2024 canidate last Spring/Summer WAY BEFORE Right-Wing Twitter was onto him.

They both have good points and I saw Friday's show. When donors rally around a candidate, that should raise alarms. In 2016 and 2020, Trump did not have any major backing with the exception of Adelson and Thiel. His campaign money came from the middle and lower class. It's why his campaign was broke at the end. They were up against institutional money.

EDIT: You are beholden to donors. When they tell you to jump. You ask how high. Another reason Trump didn't solicit the banks and energy.

EDIT 2: Marco Rubio said just before the weekend that if Trump wants it, no one will be able to challenge him. Maybe they run on a ticket together.

I remember Darren Beattie saying something similar back in November & December:

Anyways, Peter Thiel is close friends with Ann Coulter and he often listens to her when it comes to endorsing & funding candidates. So if Ann is all-in on DeSantis, he'll probably be a DeSantis donor.

EDIT:

:yeshrug: Pedro Gonzalez has been reporting for months that real reason the Trump campaign was broke was because that Jared Kushner & Brad Parscale were grifting:

Parscale stole 40M himself.

As far as Coulter goes, she's been angry since 2016 despite him winning. Nothing would please her. I had to stop following her because of the negativity.
