By this perverse, FACIST logic, Steve Jobs would have been the most qualified person to be president of the United States.

Voters view lawyers, business men and those with prior military service as worthy to be President. Those professions groom one for the decisions that need to be made as President.

@Bar None

I believe his post was out of frustration. Obama is a great orator with great style. He fist bumps. He gives daps to KD. He plays basketball. He appeals to a lot of younger voters like Bush appealed to avid hunters and Nascar fans.

Romney isn't swagless. He's just business. I'm sorry but if you post Obama's resume versus Romney's it's laughable.

I cant speak for hte first two, but definitely for the rest. Especially Reagan. You need that swag to go over the top. Voters have to think you are kind of cool in the TV age.

The only one that didnt was Nixon.

I don't deny that personality counts...but that's not the argument I'm hearing.

Personally there's a difference between who I think will win, and who I think is the better candidate.

If the argument is that Mickey Mouse is more popular than Donald Duck, then I agree.

Being a corporate businessman is not a primary qualification for being President. That's the only unique qualification Romney has over Obama.

And his job as ceo of bain was making his clients money not creating jobs. Any jobs he created with the companies bain capital owned was just a ripple effect due to him needing those companies to actually be operating. If Romney could replace all those workers with robots, he would of fired all his workers and increased the profits of his companies x10. He could care less about the poor or middle class.

In today's economy companies are having record profits and are hoarding cash like never before, these conservative posters try to argue that romney's business experience would allow him to create an environment where they hire more workers. :childplease:

Shut your cornball ass up...buh buh this is higher learning...it's all just opinions ain't nobody here on some mighty high philosophy stuff...with all the nonsensical garbage spewed about Ann Romney you get offended at what he said about it not being intelligent enough

Your showing your bias Ho card son...be real your a partisan and have different standards if it's one of yours being attacked...bytch tactics

Who do you think you're talking to? I don't even address your stupidity half the time. But you've gotten my attention and it seems like you want to get put in your place.

Look you uneducated fukk, I sit here and moderate guys like you all the time and I don't do or say shyt when you don't make sense....and it's pretty often. I get reports all the time by the "liberals" on this board and don't act on it. So unless you're sitting there in the mod forum, I'd suggest you fall all the way back.

Secondly, do you even know what the word nonsensical means? Do you really? Because you're using it improperly. Did I co-sign ANY of that shyt about the Romney lady? Nope. So what basis do you have to come at me with some sideways shyt?

But let's follow your dumbass logic. In this thread so far, people critiqued Ms. Romney for being disingenuous and you equate that with a guy running to racial stereotypes when people mention the word swag? Are you this type of imbecile? I just told the guy to stop being purposefully obtuse. What did you want me to do, "hey guys lay off roasting Ms. Romney" but it's okay if cats like HHL4E call Obama a c00n. :wtf: But in your typical save-a-dipshyt manner, you ran to the rescue to save someone you should' have let drown in his own idiocy.

Now you're sinking with him. Try again.

What is the forum description? "no trolling" and that's what that guy intended to do. That's the only thing I responded to.

You can come up for air now. :leostare:

The man has balanced books, holds a duel MBA/JD from Harvard and was a Republican Governor in a majority Democratic state.

There's alot of "unique" things going on there.

I fail to see which of these represents a unique advantage over Obama's governing experience and educational background. Working with a state budget is not quite the same as working with the national budget. Romney governed a state for 4 years, and Obama governed the country for the same amount of time. Their educational backgrounds are absolutely comparable, and in fact, I find Obama's more well-rounded, since Romney's is entirely skewed towards business, which as I said before is not the primary experience/acumen required for governance.

The only two ways Romney would be more "qualified" than Obama are:

a) He has a dominant tv persona that could convince the American public to support his policies a la Reagan.

b) A dominant arm twister who can get impossible deals done in Congress a la LBJ.

Since Romney has shown no of evidence of doing the two in his career...:stopitslime: with that "qualifications" garbage.
