He discovered combs wayyyyyy too late in his career.
:laff:

Dude trying to be a Deadhead in 1990's.
:whew::pachaha:

He's the best we got since Warren fukked it off, so :francis:. If we had ANYONE else, with Bernie's principles, we'd be taking Hillary's lunch money every day in 2016 once those mkts dropped.
I don't think so, Bernie being Bernie is why he's gotten as far as he has, anyone else with the same principles other than Elizabeth Warren probably wouldn't have made it this far.

Seriously doubt that. Bernie has the same appeal, and flaws, of Ron Paul. I don't see him as a Commander-in-Chief sorry. I will roll with him to the end, bit he's gonna need a lot more help than some obscure rappers and actors. He's just a dude riding a populist surf board. If Sanders were maybe 15 years younger, I'd agree with you.

Very small sampling. I spoke to my mom, at 66, whom I finally got to admit that Obama has Republican principles ( I mean she was IN LOVE with Obama), and she says she's definitely fukking with Bernie too, be he doesn't look like a president to her. She's an old school Black woman, just coming out of her very closed minded phase because she's going back to college. I didn't have a counter for that, as I believed it myself. Just didn't think she could see it or support him still.

I would venture a guess as a lot of people are like that about Bernie. Even uses a first name that isn't presidential, but a wise dude you'd love to have drinks with and feel sorry that his wife's always sleeping around on him.

Watching this old interview makes me feel like the main issue at least over the last 2 decades has been the dulling of the minds and acceptance of the bullshyt aka corruption of politics due to mainstream media and the power of money. The internet has been the tool to open up the eyelids of the disinterested. How open is to be determined. Technology has to be given a lot of the credit for all of this imo.

Am I right though?? :russ: I'm sorry, but I feel this is the elephant in the room as to why he doesn't get the respect he deserves. His optics are just fukked up, and he doesn't compensate by attacking from his strengths and principles, but tried to let people come to him. He's not an attractive character to most Americans who values virility. Trump is very virile, however insane. Hillary is the godmother to contemporary femininity. Sanders has hit his ceiling as a senator, and he should've started going by his birthname, Bernard, a long time ago.

If I were to put his brain into John Edwards, Martin O'Malley, or even John Kerry; they would be cleaning Hillary's clock right now. If Sanders would've ran in 2008, when Obama was being a fake progressive, he might have been a little ahead of Kucinich, but nowhere near the top. Obama, although he has some weak libmale tendencies, looks pretty virile and had charisma to compensate. Add in Michelle's beauty and strength, and he was a knock out candidate that the media could easily get behind.

Bernie just don't got it, but I really hope he wins. Virility is also a must have, if you're going to control a macho military structure and people think you know how to lead them. This was John Kerry's main problem.

Absolutely. Without the internet Sanders would be nothing right now.

Bernie fukked up in two ways:

(1) He didn't attack Hillary's record when she was most vulnerable. He kept the race "civil" because he wanted to make sure the Democratic candidate won in November. It cost him the nomination. Dumbass.

(2) He ingenuously foresaw that blue collar white dissatisfaction was at an all time high. So he offered small town America what he thought it needed -- a higher minimum wage, single payer healthcare, opposition to free trade, speeches about taking on big banks, whatever. But he didn't give them the one thing they really wanted -- a hard line on immigration. Small town American didn't want a fifteen dollar minimum wage. I mean, if they wanted fifteen bucks an hour, they wouldn't have bytched about entitlements all these years. They wanted an easy target to blame for all their woes. A target they actually understand, unlike the banking system. Trump gave them that, and the blue collar white vote instantly went to Trump.

Democrats, to pander to a group that WILL NOT be loyal to them, didn't tackle the elephant in the room: illegals and immigration reform. A lot of our current ills and wage depreciation came from that, but Dems didn't want to offend anyone. ICE was definitely in demand with Obama tho :whew:. It just didn't have an effect, because the process started too late. Should have :camby: those b*stards starting from Clinton. Too much demand for jobs we're letting get shipped off, as well as automation redundancy, that weren't replaced by new industry.

I totally agree with your second point and 90% with your first. This race isn't over yet, and Bernie now has shown he has really strong momentum. Yes, the Southern firewall was well protected, but that Rust Belt is coming, and a lot of those people are displaced former union workers adapting to right to work. 15/hr minimum, as well as union strengthening after the Koch bros fukkery sounds real good right now. We'll find out what's up in the Ides of March. I give Bernie a 60% chance of taking the nomination now. Barack lost Mass by 16 pts in 2008, and he had far more coverage then.
