Bernie was an Associate Member of the CBC(congressional black caucus)
Black Progressives, It's Time to Unite Against Establishment Politics

Here is a clip from C-Span of Bernie Sanders' remarks at the 1994 Congressional Black Caucus hearing on crime and guns in African-American communities. At the beginning of the clip, Bernie Sanders is introduced by the chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus as "a colleague and associate member of the Congressional Black Caucus." In his remarks, Sanders would go on to say that addressing crime without addressing poverty and jobs is "absurd"--that was 8,066 days ago.

and let me add this. to define what an Assoicate Member was for the CBC.

In 1988, the group(CBC) established an associate membership category to which white Members of Congress could belong. Forty-one of them joined, but the caucus ended the practice in the early 1990s.

and this is how most of the treated him when he tried to meet with them last year in 2015.

Bernie Sanders tries to meet with Black leaders but nobody shows up: Only 6 Congressional Black Caucus members attend

this is what you call making sure the other one wins. you make sure you dont even talk to the guy so he can't influence your already made up in your head vote. This also proves, no amt of courting them would help. which is why the black south ran behind clinton.

:laff:Y'all still pedaling that Sanders can win nonsense
i'll ask you again. how is it pedaling when the numbers prove he can?

and not only that. the saviour for some of these people aka hillary actually beats trump too but by a smaller margin.

we know bernie aint getting out of the western conf finals. so it is what it is. But if by some miracle he actually made it to the big game (general election). what would happen is this. The people that havent voted in the past 2 terms, the people that didnt come out to vote during all those senate/congressional seats which let the repubs take over. those people will come out to vote for someone they can finally trust.

the one thing bern has over ALL candidates. is he's been consistent with his message which has always been a true message. You can't find him saying he's down with one thing one day and with the complete opposite the next. but you can find that for every single person in the race right now including trump. Truthfulness and honesty can go a long way once its presented to the masses.
