I agree, and I'm not unsympathetic with people that don't want Bernie in the mix....but they can easily come off as the boy who cried wolf with these Russia allegations....and considering the seriousness of the Russia thing, thats not a great path imo.

Yeah I feel you, my hope is that it's more a twitter (social media?) phenomenon than a real life thing with that whole mess. But there's a lot of crying wolf going on (that's what I'd categorize the Omar being an antisemite accusations as also) and it definitely feels counter productive. I think the commodification of identity politics has absolutely poisoned the discussion so that it's hard to have a serious conversation about representation without a lot of people rolling their eyes out the gate for another example.
