It's over if he loses Pennsylvania. He should still run till the end though no question. But Bernie isn't the Alpha and Omega of this. He is just a very loud voice.
Progressives will continue on, but I think we should pick and choose our battles. The number one priority should be to get the influence of big money interest out of the process. That brings in everyone from the tea party to anarchist libertarians to establishment politicians.
After that things like single payer, income inequality, the war on drugs, and climate change are more easy to deal with

If elections were just publicly funded I don't see why not. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple viable parties arise going into the next decade. The Big two will probably do everything they can to stop it though but without actually accepting the ideas of their outsiders. I'm not a fortune teller though but you're right it's something that we need. The House of Representatives probably should be expanded too but that's another topic.
I also need Bernie to call out the shameful tactics this broad has used on some hey hey hey... The Clinton camp is saying we need to tone down. I hope they do the same and cut out the implication of sexism and usage of Sandy Hook victims as political tools.
