San Antonio is the best team for him, that's why the league fixed the NBA Draft so the Spurs could take him. Best for Wemby and for the league. Can you imagine if the Pistons had drafted him?

Wemby will likely play for the Spurs his entire career. Great Spurs players generally stay on the Spurs with few exceptions.

Tim Duncan, David Robinson and Manu Ginobili played for the Spurs their whole careers. Tony Parker played for the Spurs for his whole career except his last season. Once Bruce Bowen made it to the Spurs he didn't leave the team for the rest of his career.

However, Gregg Popovich is 75 years old and recently suffered a stroke. He's been coaching since 1973, before some NBA players' PARENTS were even born. He's inevitably going to retire early into Wemby's career. Whoever gets hired next will affect whether Wemby stays or goes.
