I rarely watch it now. I don't know why. Guess I just don't want to give up 3-4 hours of my day for it anymore.
another underrated reason at least in NY is that the weather's been NICE.I rarely watch it now. I don't know why. Guess I just don't want to give up 3-4 hours of my day for it anymore.
Baseball is my favorite sport but it has its fair share of issues as well. Lack of star power in small markets, teams with terrible offenses like the 2024 Yankees somehow making the World Series, the Colorado Rockies just being a completely hopeless franchise, etc.Seems like CFB & MLB are the only sports on here that folks don’t think have a bad product right now
Post season wasn't that good. First round was solid and that was it. ALCS was pretty much blow outs (Dodgers and Mets went 6, but most of the games wasn't close) and WS was done in 5 games.Baseball still had very exciting games across the board and a very lit postseason
Aside from my commies being nice this season is not lookin ite, Mahomes been playin like a rookie with potential and they still undefeated
The weather is why I didn't watch NBA playoff games that was played on Saturday/Sunday afternoons Those first NYC warm days be popping up while the NBA playoffs is going on.another underrated reason at least in NY is that the weather's been NICE.
No rain for a month, 70s all month long. No reason to be cooped up at home when you know it won't be long til you're trapped in there til early May.
Only the first two games of the ALCS were blowouts. One was decided by the walkoff HR by Cleveland, one in OT, and the other with the Yankees breaking a tie in the top of the 9th with 2 runs. The ALCS was entertaining as hell.Post season wasn't that good. First round was solid and that was it. Guardians lost in 5 games and at no point did anyone think they had a legit chance at winning. The game the Guardians won, the Yankee fans were more mad Judge lost his post season moment than they were worried about the Guardians winning the series.Only the first two games of the ALCS were blowouts. That doesn't mean they weren't entertaining games because it was assumed one team would win. Those games were anything from being locks. We see underdogs win all the time even if overmatched talent wise in baseball. These ain't like the NBA where the overmatched team is a near lock to win the series.Guardians lost in 5 games and at no point did anyone think they had a legit chance at winning. Even as a Yankee hater, there wasn't a single second that I thought they was gonna win. Guardians looked out match because they couldn't hit.
Yeha I don't see em either.Did I miss it somewhere? I was looking for actual ratings numbers in the article and didn’t see any.
Ehhhh I guess. As the games were happening, most never felt that much in the balance. They felt like Chief games lowkey. lol. Look closer than they actually feel. That doesn't mean they weren't entertaining games because it was assumed one team would win. Those games were anything from being locks. Nah I fully disagree. Yankees been notorious for choking in the playoffs. Check the season thread during those games. They were for sure they were about to blow every game at the first bad play or hit given up.Ehhhh I guess. As the games were happening, most never felt that much in the balance. Texans play 3 games in 10 days. CrazyDont forget Thursday night games and flying all over the world. Its comical...they cut back on practice and hitting but added a game . Bu...bu...but player safety though.
Dog folks don’t give a shyt about player safety. Denzel Ward got double the concussions Tua has had and the conversations on what his future holds ain’t nothing like Tua’s. Olave been getting block knocked off two straight seasons. Ain’t a soul talked bout his loved ones need to drag him from the game.Dont forget Thursday night games and flying all over the world. Fair enough. Maybe if I was neutral my perspective would be different.Nah I fully disagree. Yankees been notorious for choking in the playoffs. Check the season thread during those games. They were for sure they were about to blow every game at the first bad play or hit given up.
Didnt the Jets just do that? I remember when 3 in 17 was something a few year back when I believe the Ravens did it. Now 3 in 10 or 11 is basically commonplace. They show 0 fukks with the scheduling. You would think they would have Thursday games after a bye or after another Thursday night game. But nope they dont think twice about having a team play in Thursday after playing a short week the week before. Used to get a bye after playing in London. Now they just act like its any other game. "Bu...bu...but bubble wrap helmets"Texans play 3 games in 10 days. Crazy
