People complain there is too much NFL on, then the numbers come out and everyone still watches it. Christmas games breaks streaming records.

if you build it they will come

folks are not watching because it's entertaining viewing

they watch because it's the biggest spectacle

the biggest stadiums the biggest crowd the biggest media propaganda/promotional machine

all for 11 minutes of actual action & maybe one or two highlight worthy plays you won't even see until you watch the highlights

The NFL had gambling/mob ties before the NBA was ever born

Jerry Jones and Bob Kraft have stocks in DraftKings

What are we doing here:unimpressed:

Word? When evidence of that comes out you get your dap. Until now only one of the leagues has had a modern example of questionable officiating fukkery.

- I had Netflix turned to both games at some point
- I "watched" very little of either game. I was either chatting with family, on the iPad reading, etc
- I also flipped to the NBA and watched more minutes of the NBA than these games

I am sure Netflix counted me as a viewer in their status. Same thing with the Tyson/Paul fight - I don't take Netflix' numbers at face value

All that said, NFL still draws in the most attention. No one disputes that
