The question must be asked: Is Ladd McConkey better than Marvin Harrison Jr?

It’s gonna sound crazy but predraft me and my homie were talking Ladd and how his comp is AB. Dude is a technician with speed.

Yes! People bring up Edelman, Welker, Renfrow, etc.. Ladd is AB lite.
I can’t wait to see what he does in his second year.

The local beat writers is on his ass :mjtf:
"It has become a weekly ritual around the Cardinals’ Tempe facility. Marvin Harrison Jr. delivers an underwhelming performance — at least statistically — and the team spends the following week defending him.

“He's affecting the game; he's a big part of our passing game,” offensive coordinator Drew Petzing said, offering the latest iteration, even after Harrison produced a two-catch, 32-yard outing against the Patriots."

MHJ seems checked out because he knows he won’t get fed with Kyler and his best hope at a splash play is…

Kyler running in circles like a damn child and then launches up an inaccurate deep ball in double coverage.

Because he’s attached to Kyler, Ladd will play significantly better

Pre-draft I said it was highly unlikely that all three hyped WR’s were going to pan out.

Historically, WR’s chosen in the top 10 have not had legendary or even great NFL careers. Thinking all three were going to thrive was a reach.

Prior to Mike Evans (who Tet McMillan reminds me of), the last WR drafted in the top 10 to win a Super Bowl was Travis Taylor in 2000. It took Tom Brady to win with Evans though.

That SB thing doesn't correlate with panning out though. It's kind of irrelevant wrt whether a receiver will pan out.

I was watching the game yesterday and marvin harrison caught 6 passes and the announcer said that's the most he's caught in a game all year

can't blame him when your offense sucks

McConkey will probably end up with more receptions than Polk has yards this season. :dead: .

Polk probably has more drops than McConkey has receptions as well.:mjcry:.
It was an idiotic draft pick. Almost punched a hole through my TV. I wanted AD Mitchell bad. Ad isn’t putting up the best numbers either but Polk had zero upside to me.

Philly
Harbaugh would trade McCackey for Marv in a heartbeat

That midget Calamari threw the ball to McBride 16x yest...he clearly does not value Marv as a receiver

Marv needs to come home to Philly

McConkey looks like the Next Cooper Kupp to me

Harrison is in the wrong system. He would produce more in a Shanahan/Mcvay type system where a QB has to play on time with accuracy and antcipation

Kyler for the most part isnt that QB
