Okay first things first. JB is The Punisher without a doubt. As much as I didn't like season 2, it had nothing to do with him and his acting. There's so many little things he does body language wise that just screams Punisher. Like when Rachel kicks her friend in the crotch for trying to rat her out and he just looks at her and smirks at the girl on the floor as she's in pain.

As for the rest of the season 2 I was not impressed. Russo was so freaking annoying. There were several times I thought to myself is this the same actor from season 1? I don't know what the hell happened here.

I will say this both madani and the psycho therapist we're very easy on the eyes.

But to me besides annoying Russo, there were two other things that just made this season unwatchable. First is the Punisher an undercover mutant? Nobody should have a pain threshold that high. This guy gets shot, stabbed, hit with metal objects, knockdown, thrown through glass, thrown through windows, and he just gets up like it's a fukking hangnail.

The other thing I don't understand is who the hell is killing all these people just because their Senator son isn't straight? This ain't Saudi Arabia, this is America it ain't that serious.

Highly disappointed.

Wrapped up S2- in terms of action violence and gore..they deliver 100% but the story is kinda disjointed. The Pilgrim character was ok but they should have fleshed out his backstory more but to do that you would need more than 13 episodes- so in that way- I wouldnt have used him- his character felt shoe horned into this season.

Billy therapist- they should have fleshed out her craziness way earlier than they did.
The annoying bytch with Frank was useless and it made no sense that he is willing to risk his life for some girl at a bar...it wudda made more sense if maybe she was related to him in some way...maybe a niece or something.

if I were writing this season I would have

1. kept Micro as his sidekick
2 The main villian is still Billy Russo and his dogs of war team. They would still jack drug dealers but the dealers would have been working for the Kingpin. Since KP gave the Punisher a "get outta jail card" KP would have reached out Frank to enlist his help to take down Russo and the dogs of war bc they are fukking up his business. In turn Russo would enlist Micro to help him track the Punisher, hence Micro making the heel turn that true to his comic character.

You had me with the kingpin shyt, that would be kinda dope..but you lost me completely with the Micro heel turn, true to the comic or not that would make zero sense and literally be the worst plot twist with how much Frank helped him and his family. I don’t think people would fukk with that decision at all

They groomed him his entire life to be a presidential candidate, and they had the power to do it, as stupid as it sounds you’d be crazy to think him being outed as gay wouldn’t ruin his chances of being elected

I must have watched a different season 2 than y’all because I thought it was dope

Agreed, this was superior to S1.

A RACK? You better be ready to break bread for that type of job. Even the mercs needed $5 million to try it. :russ:

I loved season 2....thought it was more binge worthy than 1.

Me & my girl went through it in 2 days off work. :JamesBroehs:

Just finished it. solid 7.5/10. Season 1 way way better IMO. too many filler episodes this season. Not walking dead bad but to the point where id watch an episode and not give two fukks if i continued onto the next episode or not. Season 1 had me fiending after each episode. Season 2 action was better though. So many :scust: scenes that legit had me cringing.

finished up the season last night. Sometimes you just gotta let go of reality for a second and some of the writing holes to just enjoy some good old school a*s kicking. The action was top notch and Bernthal didn't disappoint as Punisher once again. Something about letting John Pilgrim live didn't sit well with me though :francis: Like we gonna forget that he murdered all these other innocent people and all of a sudden he's repented for his sins :comeon:

Felt like on some of the scenes the writers we're stuck with finding a solution to these sub plots and just said f*ck it to some of them with some lazy writing like with the therapist or even way in the beginning with the bartender chick.

as a matter a fact, what was the whole point of her??? I thought she was gonna be a big part of the story more than the kid like as in Frank finally finds a second love or some sh*t :patrice:

they just left her in the hospital and from there on, was forgotten :heh:

I was waiting all season for her to come back or be something to Frank :dead:

Overall, i feel a 3rd season would def be needed, i'm a big fan of this show and i think Netflix knows that this is probably their most valuable series in the marvel series that they have.
