Something about letting John Pilgrim live didn't sit well with me though Like we gonna forget that he murdered all these other innocent people and all of a sudden he's repented for his sins

Felt like on some of the scenes the writers we're stuck with finding a solution to these sub plots and just said f*ck it to some of them with some lazy writing like with the therapist or even way in the beginning with the bartender chick.


as a matter a fact, what was the whole point of her??? I thought she was gonna be a big part of the story more than the kid like as in Frank finally finds a second love or some sh*t

they just left her in the hospital and from there on, was forgotten

I was waiting all season for her to come back or be something to Frank

Overall, i feel a 3rd season would def be needed, i'm a big fan of this show and i think Netflix knows that this is probably their most valuable series in the marvel series that they have.

Frank saw the parralel between himself and John and knew he at least had family left unlike him, don’t forget Frank was killing innocent people overseas following orders just like John was to get his kids back, fair enough frank didn’t know at the time but he was suspicious when Rawlings had him picking the bullet back out of Madinis first partners head to hide evidence, oblivious or not Frank knows he killed an innocent police officer.

And Daredevil was their most valuable series

Did everything. Literally had to turn up the brightness on my tv. Nothing shows this dark except this season of this series.

Kind of a long post but here’s my review...

Season 1 was 9/10 for me, id rate this season 8/10, season was fukking great for the most part but..

The two antagonist storylines weren’t balanced enough, and I put the blame for a lot of this on the whole therapist/Billy storyline, it was trash and undeeded. If you cut out her scenes completely they would of had time to have both antagonist storylines equally fleshed out, it didn’t seem it at first but Pilgrim turned out to be an incredibly dope complex character with a cool backstory, but it seemed they only really got in depth with him and his origin, motivations and relationship with the Schwartz family in the last 1/3 of the season, I’m pretty sure At some points John was completely missing from a few episodes, but we had plenty of scenes building the relationship between Billy & Krista every episode...

You could argue she was important from a plot device standpoint but they had some really easy workarounds to go with.

1. We didn’t need Billy to stumble on Krista’s therapy session with Jake for him to start recruiting, He used to run his own private funded army and he’s incredibly smart and manipulative, he could of easily started building a crew as soon as he escaped the hospital,

2. Billy wanted Frank to suffer more than anything, and like stated above Billy was smart and knew a lot about who Frank is...it wouldn’t of been far fetched in the slightest for him to come to the conclusion all by himself that having Frank think he killed some innocents would break him, that whole thing with Krysta inviting madani round to get this info from her was not needed at all.

3. Billy didn’t need to see Krysta being thrown through a window for him to go all crazy on madani, he was mentally unstable as fukk already. Plus that whole fight scene was trash, and those special effects were horrible.

Billy went from having a few crew members, to having a small army, to back to just a few guys all within the space of around 4 episodes, John Pilgrim spent the first 60% of the season shuffling around and not really saying much to having some of the best scenes of the season along with giving his character some complexity and backstory all within the last 4 Episodes.

Have both of these villains arcs unfold over the course of the whole season with good balance and this would arguably be the best Netflix marvel season.

You cant have all this "serious, philosophical" dialogue about loss, redemption, moving on, living with yourself etc, and five minutes later have ppl getting up and fighting after being shot, stabbed, hit in the head with blunt objects.
You cant have it both ways

Just finished it. Good season. The first was better but i feel this one had better frank moments. When he went off on ol girl that just wanted to make him proud with her disarming technique i legit breh kept saying "you think this a game?!" and she was just crying her ass off and frank aint give no fukks ...Another great moment was when frank

breh was bout to go in on his soul cleansing monologue and frank was like fukk all that and die
The way this shyt ended too, with the full outfit and frank just going ham Thomas jane got his best punisher mantle snatched and Jon aint looking back

As for the other characters i still fukk with curt and madani still bad af with her sexy ass overbite/lisp. The chick didnt annoy me like yall after like the 3rd ep cuz she quit tryna run and just let frank be great. The psychiatrist chick a baddie as well and has popped up on so many shows i watch its crazy (lethal weapon, and when i used to watch supergirl). That sex between her and billy was though. shyt made me cringe the way he looked like he was tryna open her old wounds and shyt. Thought dude was gonna open her up like hellraiser at one point. All in all i give it a 7.5/10. Enjoyable for sure but not on the first season level.

Can’t believe he let that pilgrim nikka live. He was a legit bad guy killing nikkas for no reason . Don’t make no sense , punisher has killed plenty nikkas with families too so that reason was stupid
