What happened to the original Angier? Was he the first to drown or was he killed at the end of the movie? I seriously wonder did this guy doom himself to a life of knowing every night he'd die behind the stage as another version of him was born that knew the next night it would be his turn to die.

There is no original because both are Angier that dude was not a clone but a duplicate. So in a sense they were both Angier.

Original drowned. He made the ultimate sacrifice every night he went on stage.

Alfred him telling him drowning felt like going home. Alfred told him it was actually the worst experience the sailor ever had.

It's a suppose to be a teleportation machine. So when it breaks them done and builds them back it creates two of them. They were both made at the same point so how do you determine who is the original and who is the fake? Crazy right

Wolverine creates the clone, the clones shoots the Wolverine
The clones goes on to do tricks but hes says Would I be the man in the box or the prestige?

Brilliant movie. I think the Original Angier was the first to drown. The first CLONE was shot by OG Angier when he tested out the machine for the first time.
