better than the first homie?
Im not a film critic by any means, but i just enjoyed the second one better. Maybe its glovers acting? The first one is GREAT dont get me wrong, i just think predator 2 should be on equal footing as the first. I dont think im being blasphemous.
Sort of like plenty of people enjoy Aliens more than Alien, although Alien was clearly the more important and arguably better movie.

Ok thoughtful shyt. Allow me to retort.
Predator 2 is fine. It's not bad at all. But the issue with it and why it's not better than the first is they took the predator out of the jungle. Now I get the whole metaphor of involving him in a concrete jungle amongst gang members and cops. Cool. But there was a missing element. Him being able to blend in with trees and the forest and truly have Dutch and his team at a disadvantage because he knew the turf better than them. Plus predator 2 doesn't have the team vibe of the first and not as many memorable characters. And just as an action movie, it pales because the action in 1 is much better than 2

they had a wasted opportunity with larry also i just wasnt buying Adrian brody as the alpha. that was my only grip. i like the movie
I liked the concept especially about the backgrounds of the different predators
