That's too bad, movie flopped anyway it looks like. What a shane...i mean shame.

I have a theory on that. Well it’s not mine but it’s from one of the smarter box office types at deadline: predator isn’t a franchise. Never has been. The biggest movies in the franchise money wise are the Alien vs predator flicks, specifically the first one. The opening of this movie wasn’t better than predators from 2011 and that didn’t set the world on fire either.

People aren’t interested in the monster as much as they’re interested in who’s fighting the monster. I’d say the same goes for alien as well.

Some things aren’t meant to be more than one or two movies and then you move on. And with Disney getting the rights to most of that shyt soon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it all confined to moth balls
