I'm not saying he's gonna drop the ball but directors only have so much power when it comes to big films and remakes like this and they always end up shytty. The suits always come in and change shyt up and we get a remake thats either shytty or forgettable in about 2 weeks after release. I want it to be good but Hollywood's track record isn't the best when it comes to late 80s-90s remakes. The only one I can say was really good was Rambo (2008) only b/c Stallone financed it himself, directed it and did it independent. shyt was raw

Well he said he only took the job because Fox said they'd give him the money he needs and the freedom he needs. He's not the type of guy who's going to take a job if you're not going to let him do what he wants and how he wants to do it. And he was very upfront about that in interviews about this movie or anything he's done since 05

You killing me smalls the planet of the apes movies, the martian,deadpool, and kingsman are four of my favorite movies of the past few years. all fox

I mean yeah that's cool but that's ignoring x men days of future past or any other movie they've put out. Like I said no studio is perfect but with a straight face we can say they've been putting out nothing but trash?

I'm not debating they can't put out good movies but with the Predator franchise they've fukked it up multiple times over the past 10 plus years. No need to think this one will be better. I'm good on 1 and 2 (2 is a guilty pleasure but I watch it all the time)
Don't even get me started on the debacle of an X-Men franchise with a timeline that doesn't make any sense at all. Thats a whole nutha thread.

Predators was dope to me. And the main reason the movies before suffered is because lack of vision behind the camera. Outside of McTiernan and Rodriquez producing the last one name me the great visionaries who directed predator 2 or the alien vs predator movies.

Yea I actually watch and like Predators every time it comes on FX.or FXM but its just a retelling of the origin with a slight twist. I would prefer they build off of that one and try to find a way for them to get off that planet.

I'm sure they're shelving that one. I don't think it was big enough financially for them and Shane said he wanted a direct sequel from the first one. So connected to that and of anything else

You say fukk no like its easily better than p2, gtfoh mart lol....Fukkery term getting dragged through mud as well.. Predators attempts to engage in "Fukkery" but it really doesn't work. It's not a bad movie but P2 is much better bruh.

Kevin Peter Hall as the predator looks so much cooler than these new hulked up versions, it's not even close. All the new weapons and the end reveal scene, universe building.

Predators has a bunch of Characters who do absolutely nothing. Machete gets killed off in the first 15 mins, Adrian brody barley pulls off the tough guy role. Fishburn is wasted and killed off as early as hes introduced...The Latina is the best character. Topher Disgrace as a serial killer twist

Hell nah.
