The scene with dead Trejo being bait, them being on the ship with Fishburne, the first time they stumble on the camp and all the predators reveal themselves, and the first time they all battle the predators in the jungle. All of that shyt is pretty memorable to me.

Predator 2 just never worked for me. Arnold told them they were wrong to take it out of the jungle and I've always agreed with that

Pred just chilling in the city.

Actually he looked coo af in the metropolis. Also he had more screen time, he's an actual character with traits and some personality. Predators didn't have that. Just a rushed attempt to cash in with lame chatacters.

Yeah again doesn't work for me man. Don't like him in the city setting, don't buy Glover as the antagonist, don't really like any of the supporting characters except Pullman but that's because he's Pullman doing his thing. Gary Busey is on some other shyt. It just feels like a typical early 90s action movie copying Die Hard

Hated predator 2.

Predator 2 just felt silly. Like some coked up exec was like I GOT IT! PREDATOR IN THE CITY!

predators felt more in the spirit of the first film.

The first worked because The Predator was up against legitimate macho men. You got why an OP character like The Pred saw them as a challenge just by looking at them.

Going from a prime Schwarzenegger and Weathers to Adrien Brody and Boyd Holbroyk man FOH


Either put The Pred up against macho men (How you not gonna cast The Rock for this) or Aliens or don't bother at all.

He did. but he's also known to let his coke binges and/or ego fukk shyt up. Shane Black and Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans and Tony Scott weren't happy with last boy scout because he interfered too much and let his ego get in the way.

don't get it confused. Just because I'm saying he's screwed stuff up doesn't mean he hasn't done dope shyt. I know most of the internet works in absolutes like we're all fukking Sith, but the world is a lot more complex than that. Silver giveth (the matrix, predator) and he taketh away (House on Haunted Hill, The Reaping)

Well he said he only took the job because Fox said they'd give him the money he needs and the freedom he needs. He's not the type of guy who's going to take a job if you're not going to let him do what he wants and how he wants to do it. And he was very upfront about that in interviews about this movie or anything he's done since 05

People forget Iron Man 3 made over a billion dollars Shane Black has some clout now. I'm just wondering what the story is going to be about ? Oh and the Predator in a urban setting has a lot of potential it just needs the right vision to make it work. I wouldn't be surprised if this film has the Predator in all types of different settings as if he was hunting the most dangerous prey humanity has to offer all over the world .
