You should have a mix at least.... If trap music motivates you because they speak on real shyt.... then you can also mix it up with more positive types of rap. I brought up immortal technique because he actually does real shyt.... speaks on real shyt. There are other people who speak on real things that aren't ignorant.....

It's a wrong opinion, factually incorrect.. Xingyi first off is renowned for having few movements, in fact it really has only about 17 tactics overall, give or take. It also wins in tournaments and lei tai frequently(Tang Shou Tao has the scene on lockdown, and their tournament fighters are raised on some shaolin basics and xingyi), and has since the turn of the century. Xingyi is also the only kungfu style to have been taught to the chinese army as a complete system and used on the battlefield, so you're just straight up wrong. Meanwhile you lionize the chun which.... I think you know doesn't get a lot of respect. Just mull that over.

i thought it was about evolution... i guess i don't remember.. I know I didn't gossip cuz that's just not me, not really what i do. Especially back then... No. Chun is popular all over the world because of Bruce Lee, and I think you know that too. Next time you call Xingyi impractical, you should read up on it and realize that it's the only style in China (well arguably Bagua and Baji too) that made the transition from being a military style to a family style to being taught to an elite few in the bodyguard business, to the military again and has survived to retain relevancy in full contact(which is the watermark of MA excellence today, seeing as how bare knuckle brawling is illegal). Xingyi has a presence in literally every facet of Chinese martial history in some form or another.

what sounds ducktales. i practice MA, not a master, not a millionaire, but I'm confused about he scareface thing. Well not just white people per se, but everybody else that isn't urban or a minority. What I'm saying is that it hurts the urban black/latino imagine to the rest of the world. Racism is gonna exist regardless but some people are all too happy to embrace those racist stereotypes and rap is a perfect example of that. shyt if I'm a white/asian/jewish person or just a black guy from suburban Canada and i hear a song like biggie's "gimme the loot", I'm gonna be VERY, afraid to walk thru Brooklyn and im gonna cross the street everytime I see a scary looking black dude with his pants sagging and a black and mild in his mouth. That black dude might be a great person and the nicest funniest dude I'll ever meet, but i would never know it because the popularity of rap music is so big, that's what paints my image of what black Americans are like n what the hood is like. Then I'll be labeled a racist when I'm just ignorant and misinformed.

i dont disagree with analysis, but i just dont think thats important, that isnt what motivates me, i think its a freec country and people can think whatever they want to think and people have the right to be racist

there are only 2 things that will end discrimination against black people, economic power and military power

Yea not everybody will think that way especially not the younger ones but there will always be some who do. My family came here from DR in the 80s. From a tiny ass town in the hills to Harlem durin the crack era my mother was always so scared cause of all the shootouts and when she learned English and me and my brother started blasting rap and watching rap city, her impression of young black men only got worse. She is much more intelligent now and she doesn't think that way but one time she saw me walking on Broadway with my black homies and assumed I was about to get jumped we was just about to go play ball.
