As for the bolded, I don’t think dudes should be shamed as pervs for liking younger chicks 18+.
However, I’m just referring to the generation gap and power dynamics and in most cases there’s people being taken advantage of in those dynamics and who is taking advantage of whom just depends on who is playing games and who isn’t.
I’ve rarely seen a huge gap in ages where this wasn’t the case. Exceptions withstanding.
You can’t get around the weirdness of a 30+ male/female seriously courting an 18 year old. Most people are products of their environments. Most relationships are formed within wide social circles. Access to people outside of ur own generation isn’t something that just naturally occurs in most cases. I’m just speaking in practical terms here.
Ask any 30+ person the general age group of their peers and friends. And there’s a reason for that. Normative social bonds over shared experiences and background...even communication styles can be bound by age.
So even beyond the logistics of finding young chicks which is already straying into weirdo land, that generation gap ain’t going nowhere. Thus a lot of these unions tend to be situations where one or both partners are using one another.
