Yeah I'm gonna switch back to my G3258. It's too early for me to waste money on a CPU that will only improve a trash game anyway(Watchdogs) while my existing games played just fine.

I just wanted to take advantage of the price but it wasn't really worth it for now to me.

Here's the thing. those extra frames are worthless to me. I'm playing on a 60hz 1080P TV. 60fps is what I shoot for so having a game that can reach 80fps on another setup is pointless as I'd cap the framerate anyway. If I was using say a 120/144hz monitor that'd be another story.

Not going to get any better than Samsung 840 EVO with Far Cry 4 for $109

You can easily flip the FC4 code on Ebay for $30...

Yup. But even the 500gb is $189.99 with FC4 too and you can flip that code. Might just scoop that one up and combine my current 120 and 250 SSD's onto that and hand my 120 to my brother.

Yea I copped the 500GB...Just remember to run the firmware update cuz I heard the 840's got some read problems out the box...

Copped on Wednesday from some other spot for $220 (after $30 dollar rebate) but then I saw this deal this morning and was...:beli:

I ordered from Amazon ($206) and will be refusing shipment on the other one...the other spot will charge me shipping for refusing the package but I'm still winning...I hate the rebate process and Amazon's return policy is the GOAT...

Damn I forgot I owned Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. Decided to throw it on Ultra with 2X MSAA at 1080P and my god the game plays at 60fps buttery smooth. :wow:

How does that one compare to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824260047 ?
Dell UltraSharp U2412M

Help brehs I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger.
refresh rate is better on the asus, but the dell has a higher resolution

http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-ultrasharp-u2412m/specs/

If those asus are $200 again, I'd seriously consider buying 3 of em. They're good monitors

That 1200p on the dell causes problems in some games cuz of letterboxing, but that is few and far between. it's an atypical resolution. It's 16:10 I think, not 16:9
