that or pc hardware community forums. ebay isn't a scary place to shop. if you're buying used from independent sellers, make sure they have a proven record and feedback. and make sure to ask questions and see how they respond.

If you preorder a game, does steam not charge you until they are released or something? They charged me for my 3 games, it was processing, and now the charge is gone? Steam says I have the games when I go to the page, but they're not in my library anymore 
My concern would be a failure after a few months. I know some companies allow the warranty to be transferred, but I think most don't.
